September New Moon

By the time you are reading this we will have passed through the massive eclipse cycle. The full solar eclipse in Leo and the finale of the Pisces Virgo eclipse cycle a partial lunar eclipse at the end of August.

Now that our world has been shaken up a bit, we are ready for the careful tending of Virgo season. What I love about Virgo is that it is Spirituality in Action. You are no longer just dreaming and visioning, or talking about what you are visioning, you are breaking down the vision into small digestible action steps and then doing them. I use that word purposefully because Virgo also rules your entire digestive system including the intestines, bowels, spleen, and pancreas. Virgo rules the details, humble service, and health/self care. This Virgo new moon is supported by Mars and the Sun, making it even more action oriented. Getting organised is the trademark of Virgo.

Speaking of health, I have been getting more interested in the Asteroids, alot of which live in the Kuiper Belt just outside the orbit of Neptune. The Asteroid that comes to mind for Virgo season is the asteroid Hygieia. Yes it is the origin word for the word Hygiene. Hygieia according to Greco-Roman mythology was the daughter of Panacea, the Goddes of cures. Hygieia is an interesting one because she is the health goddess of prevention. So where you see Hygieia in your astrological chart, you see the best ways to prevent illness for your own constitution.
