Hi, I’m Leslie Purchase

CANCER COACH , JOURNEY COACH & CEREMONIALIST

I facilitate and guide people through the emotional and psychosocial impacts of a cancer diagnosis, at any stage. Whether you have a new diagnosis, an old one, or a terminal one, we create a safe and compassionate space together to process what's happening and thoughtfully shape a way of living well.

YOU ALREADY HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED

The Values That Guide My Work

Compassion

I hold belief in my clients' worthiness of love and belonging until they are ready to hold it for themselves.

Presence

I show up fully, with humanity, warmth, and the kind of steadiness that makes it safe to feel everything..

Honesty

The cancer journey is hard and beautiful in ways that are hard to anticipate. I will not minimize either.

Spaciousness

Rather than rushing toward answers, I create room for emotions to be felt, truths to be told, and meaning to take shape.

What Clients Say

  • "It is hard to put into words what the work with Leslie has meant to me. I received a terminal diagnosis 7 years ago, and Leslie has helped open my heart and mind to the world again. Her humanity, zest for life, and intuition complement her ability with Reiki, guided imagery, and life coaching. I look on my time with her with deep gratitude."

    — J.H.

  • "Her gentle way of mirroring my deepest fears is astounding. She could language her thoughts in a way that allowed me to feel supported and yet totally willing to let go of old behavior and step into a new version of myself

    — D.M.

A Little More About Me…

Leslie's work is shaped by both formal training and lived experience. She studied biology, philosophy, and medicine at Johns Hopkins University, King's College London, and Temple University School of Medicine, drawn early on to questions about how people make meaning when life becomes uncertain.

After the birth of her three children, Leslie was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. Two years later, she became a caregiver to her daughter during a brain cancer diagnosis. Moving through cancer as a physician, a patient, and a caregiver gave her a rare and holistic perspective on the emotional, relational, and psychosocial impact of a diagnosis, not only on the individual but on families and entire support systems.

Today Leslie works with people navigating cancer at any stage, creating a safe, steady container where emotions can be felt, stories can be told, and meaning can take shape. Her work is grounded, spacious, and deeply human. It is about helping people live well on their own terms, even in the midst of uncertainty, change, and loss.
