Retrogrades are the way the universe carves out time for refinement. This is the time to review and refine how you are showing up in your closest relationships, how you make and spend money, and how you share, use, and misuse power and control. It can also bring into sharper relief the ways you manipulate or are manipulated. Venus in Scorpio encourages shadow work, and she also probes at your finances. The reason I am emphasizing Venus in Scorpio is that she spends an unusually long time there, which means she has important business to attend to: from September 10 to October 25, 2026, and then from December 4, 2026 to January 7, 2027.
The New Moon in Libra points to new beginnings in how we approach and balance our relationships and our own creativity. Venus retrograde in Scorpio asks us to review and refine the ways we have approached relationships, creativity, and the arts in the past. The two work together in a very synergistic way, though there can be some friction, and deep, seismic shifts that can't be explained or may not be obvious on the surface. In essence, Libra moves toward fairness, while Scorpio explores all that is seemingly imbalanced.
In my experience, planetary alignments do not always indicate sweeping, loud, or dramatic changes. Some changes, especially with Venus in Scorpio, are subtle and deep. Venus in Scorpio invites us to excavate our closest relationships with surgical precision and depth, to transform any unconscious material that is ready to be alchemized, and to wait patiently for grace to do the rest. There is an inexplicable magic here: an opening, an opportunity in the areas of love, sex, intimacy, and finances. There is a deep "letting go" and trust at your fingertips this month.
Venus in Scorpio (in both retrograde and forward motion) also has a very sexual and erotic flavor, so everything from sexual intimacy to sexual wounding is on the table for transformation. There is an invitation to open to trust and intimacy in your deepest relationships.

Often it points to how we create balance when things feel imbalanced. The Lovers card reflects on love and the way we project ideal and less-than-ideal traits onto our closest one-on-one partners.

While Juno does not define who you will marry or when, she does indicate the qualities you value in a long-term partner, and the qualities that will draw you to someone in a long-term way.
